Carolyn J Hall

I have worked with numerous choreographers and companies both nationally and internationally and received a New York Dance and Performance “Bessie” Award for performance in 2002.

My training spans a wide-ranging collection of modern/contemporary forms and techniques including Limón, release, improvisation, immersive dance theater, numerous somatic practices, and various influences from the inspirational teachers, choreographers, and collaborators I have worked with.

I love being challenged and have sustained relationships or sought new experiences that introduce me to new forms of expression in physical, emotional, and contextual ways. It has provided me with a rich community that continues to teach, support, and inspire. Long-term collaborations include:

Lionel Popkin Dance

Carrie Ahern Dance

Maho Ogawa/SuisoCo

Third Rail Projects

Clarinda Mac Low/Sunk Shore
